The amazing Lilly Pulitzer skirts I found at Value Village!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking a little thriftventure to my local Value Village thrift store (cl) in Crown Hill (Ballard). It was my first time shopping at that specific location, as I tend to visit the Capitol Hill location. Upon arrival, I immediately headed towards the housewares section to find cool vases, frames or glassware that I could DIY. Spotted: two plain white mugs that basically screamed "make me pretty!" Those were first to go into my shopping cart.

In addition to those mugs, a few friends and I found some classic Lilly Pulitzer skirts for only $9.99 which was an amazing deal, especially since those skirts are originally priced at least $150+. Even though it was a few sizes too big, I couldn't pass it up and bought the original patchwork skirt. That's what tailors are for, right?

Loved finding these hidden gems at the store! I bought the skirt on the left.

Paired with a light airy blouse, v-neck or ruffled tank - the skirt was the perfect addition to my closet!

DIY SHARPIE MUGS

As for the thrifted mugs, I couldn't help myself to a little DIY project that afternoon. Below are "His" and "Hers" mugs for my main squeeze and me. Directions included below!

DIRECTIONS: Decorate as you please and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

I would have bought both skirts and turned one into a set of coasters. The fabric is just so colorful and fun!
