July 6, 2010 = the day after the Independence Holiday Weekend. For Summer Quarter students, this means the day after a 4 day weekend. In my case, it is the day after a weekend of working and studying (anything but relaxing) As well, this day is one prior to my COM 400 Midterm Exam. Why would a teacher schedule a midterm after the long weekend? That we do not know except for the professor, himself. However, when he replied in an email about key terms on July 5th, he mentions not to spend the entire weekend studying...
How contradictory... his actions speak otherwise.
